I'm pretty sure they were all part of the same dream. I can't really explain why, and I know there are parts of the dream that I missed. I didn't write it down as soon as it happened, so some parts faded a bit.

What I've come to realize is that when a dream suddenly shifts like that, from the swamp/train/Dora dream to something totally different store/spaceship, what has really happened is one dream has ended and a new one has started but we don't realize the end and start of dreams very well.

I'm sure there was a lot more going on with that second dream, you just don't remember it.

Wow, what a dream. My Inner Armchair Psychologist tells me that Dora represents your own unexplored ambitions - for travel, and an exotic, animated (literally!) world of multicultural adventure. Being stuck under the train engine represents a kind of death (or at least peril) before even getting started on the journey. Your further disorientation, further exemplifying the difficulty of just getting started - 'at the train station' as it were. And the rotting wood might not be that far from reality - a friend who works for the train system says its in desperate need of repair - some of the tracks are still in use from Civil War times.

Spaceships are you wanting to take your travels and adventures to the next level, bypassing antiquated train travel and aiming right for the stars, your destiny.
