I’m a big fan of Japanese animation. Unlike animation in the U.S., in Japan animation isn’t limited to children’s shows. Some of Japan’s biggest movies are “cartoons”, and match (or exceed) the quality and emotional impact of the masterworks that Disney puts out.
On this page I’m going to try and catalog most, if not all, of the anime I’ve seen. Specifically, I’m going to stick with Japanese anime, even though there are a number of shows in the U.S. that follow the same artistic style (like the incredible Avatar: The Last Airbender or Justice League). I will be limiting myself to stuff that had to cross the ocean.
Eventually I’ll develop a ranking system and a key (because, really, some of this stuff is not suitable for kids, and a small portion of it probably isn’t suitable for anyone 
. for now, I’m just going to try and get it all recorded.
